We are seeking an experienced and confident Residential Property Lawyer (2-3 years + PQE) or equivalent experience to join our Real Estate Team in Manchester.

You will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters with a high degree of autonomy, while remaining fully supported by an experienced partner. This role offers excellent exposure to complex and rewarding work, alongside genuine opportunities for progression and professional development.


Role Responsibilities

  • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
  • Acting on a variety of transactions including:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases including Building Safety Act experience
    • Auction sales and purchases
    • Bridging finance
    • Remortgages
    • Transfers of equity
    • New Build
  • Handling matters for a mix of private clients, investors, and lenders
  • Liaising with clients, agents, brokers and other solicitors to progress transactions efficiently
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and risk requirements
  • Providing clear, practical and commercial advice to clients

• Contributing to team development and supporting junior members where appropriate


Candidate Requirements

Qualified Solicitor, CILEx or Licensed Conveyancer with approximately 2+ years PQE or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience handling a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
  • Strong technical knowledge across all stages of residential property transactions
  • Ability to manage files efficiently under time pressure
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
